Since I returned and started from scratch mine pretty much goes to training and building up for later. The battledome is my one major interest in neo, but with the changes .. My return may end up being short lived. --- If not, inevitably everything will go into the BD set.

I like the rewards for fighting, but the overall changes were for the worse, so far, I think.

No incremental challenge means once you've beat something once.. that's it. Challengers not gaining hp after a loss takes away any reason to challenge yourself on it past the first win. (I know high hp pets could trivialize every 1 player fight with wodf or i-staff, but those are special cases) --- I remember the 700 boost, 10 HP pet Danger .. The stuff he was doing was pretty epic.. and now that's gone, unless they add back in hp gain.

I like the idea of the faerie ability revamp, but I feel like BD lost a lot with it. Burrow and Sink were something special in the strategy department that really needed to be used well.. There's no real answer to that in the current system.
(Example. You know your opponent still has a gbomb to throw.. But you still have burrow.. The timing of that one burrow could lose or win you the fight. Then they can blast you with something to trap you into burning sink as well... Boom, full damage bomb)

The loss of stances in favor of the constant faerie abilities could have been good if the faerie abilities had something to truly match an all out berserk attack. Or something to appeal to the turtles like defensive stance spamming.

Then there's the obvious fact that they just threw darts at a board to pick what abilities do what in each tier. ... At level 50 you can get this minor inconvenience .... or once per day freezer... or this once per match freezer ..... Choose wisely!

Oh you're level 500? .. Let's reward you with... 4 extra icons to one attack.... once a day ... Don't laugh at us! .. WE THOUGHT THIS THROUGH THOROUGHLY!!

Now.. there are some cool abilities to be had --- But they are massively overshadowed (to me) by the absolute mindlessness of the execution of the system as a whole.

And wars seem to have gone away in favor of plots with battle segments. This isn't an all bad thing.. If they had full on wars, too. That was my favorite thing in neo.. War plots. From looking over the plots I missed, it seems like the battling was just a little segment to shut up the battledomers more than a focus. To be fair though, I wasn't here for them, so I could be pleasantly surprised.

I don't plan on leaving anytime too soon.. But once my pet is built up and I have a decent set, there's a very real chance that I will burn myself out on the whole thing that I see as an overall detrimental system.

lol i don't know man. perhaps i judge the new battledome solely based on the graphics. i never really involved with the battledome and this is the first time i really train + battle using my pet. i agree with some of your points though.

btw for me i just hoard my nps as well... i want the dr sloth/tax beast trophies so i didn't put any of my nps in the bank. ocassionally i did some light training on my pet.

I basically just buy items that remind me of when I first started (Like over 10 years ago).... Or I'll buy items that I feel I can leave in a gallery and come back in a couple more years and have them worth fortunes lol. Odds are none of the items I buy will ever be worth THAT much, but I look at items that are 10-20m, that used to be like 5k back in my day and it gives me hope

I feel that they should at least add in more challenges of the day; etc. Unfortunately given how recent the update was I don't think they're gonna change it anytime soon

I spend pretty much all of my np on getting my pet to look the way I want it to look.  I think I'm going to have to breakdown and buy some nc soon because they sucked me in.  I'm almost done with my pets so then I'll probably move to making a gallery of some sort.  I've tried stocks but haven't had much luck in that department.

I hoard it all and stare at it lovingly.  I only use it for stocks, training, and food club right now.  If I had 50 mil more, I would buy stamps, books, wearables, and tons of neggs.
