3.1415. Really, though, you only need 3.14, because you're going to put a factor of safety on that bitch anyways.

3.1415925433... I think

Jesus o-o
It's so hard...

3.1415; Beyond that isn't significant. Even the .xx15 is overkill for anything I do.
When you're adding factors of safety, that extra .0015 doesn't matter too much, seeing as it's only .05% of 3.

The extra numbers do make a huge difference if your math teacher marks your answer wrong for rounding error -.- (we're expected to use the pi button, which contains a lot significant digits)
In the real world, .05% does make a difference if you're calculating angles of velocities That 0.05% can be enough to make a plane go a couple miles off course.
.05% on a 12000lb load is 6lbs. The scales devices in my shop are likely ± .1% at best. You throw a factor of safety on that shit and it's all good.
Just like to add I don't fucking work for NASA. If I did, it'd be different. Same with Lockheed or Boeing or SpaceX or any weight critical application.

I don't think of pi as a numerical value, I think of food
Math and I were enemies in school. Algebra was math's better looking cousin so I could deal with that.

3.14159265 is as far as I can remember. I spent a while listening to this song when I was bored once and it just stuck with me:
