So I went and got a proxy a couple weeks ago and realized my buy times got faster... I thought it would would get slower but eh. As weird as it sounds this is actually a bad thing imo cuz now m buy times are 1.1-1.4, usually around 1.1. But now im starting to get .9 buy times all a sudden x_X. Is this way too fast??

According to the FAQ (http://www.neocodex....s/#entry1518100), 900 ms is way too fast. If you want to be safe, 1500-1800 ms is what you should aim for. Less than 1500 is more risky.

Thanks for the feedback. Ive been going hard with about 8 accounts buy times mostly around 1.1 and havent been frozen, but I KNOW that I was pushing it. Now that it .9 eh... im jus gonna sit in shops that arent popular. Also is a refresh rate of 1.2-3.7 too much?

Yep. Most legit restockers refresh at a rate of 5-8. No one is refreshing every second or so. Plus, you stand a chance of being restock banned faster with that low of a refresh rate.

Ah, I remember reading a recent post someone said they used times like that for 8hrs a day in book. once i saw that I said why not ^_^ basically picked up almost every item I saw lol. Buutttt I dont like being greedy ill tone it down some.. Other deserve items also lol. Thanks for helping out. I also thought that was a good idea too keep it that low because after lurking the rs board chat thingy Ive come to the conclusion they are refreshing maybe every 1-3sec? Most of them say they are refreshing every sec but eh prolly not true.

I did have my refresh rate down very low (1 second)...got some good items but am now worrying that I might be banned tomorrow...such a noob. (Changed it to 3-5 seconds now though)

I generally find that there's a tendency to get restock banned like crazy if you have your minimum set to anything below ~5 seconds.

Plus like others've said, it just looks... less... legitimate. Especially if you're ABing for anything but short periods.

I've found that there is little difference in profit margin if I used 3-8 or 5-13. All about the buy times, a bit of luck, and other competition.
