The 'a' is the right place to hit.

but i feel the big round ones are easier to drop

Wow, going to try this using the middle of the a strategy. I'd never heard of that until I read this, not that I'm crazy about this avvie but I play the game a couple times every day.

I got the av just day-after-day of using Valorous' Neopets Suite. I honestly doubt that one strategy leads to significantly better results than another, honestly.

This game drives me nuts. After I get the av -- if I get it -- I am never going to play it again. Just like Kiss the Mortog, so glad I don't need to play that anymore.

I ran the autoplayer in the program manager everyday for about 2 weeks and got the avatar. Consistency is key!

I've been trying to get this one for a while but no luck so far... I'll try the a thing tho

Just got to keep trying everyday until it happens. I click right in the middle of the "a" as well. I don't play everyday anymore, but I've knocked over 3 in the past year, its so satisfying when you finally see that empty post!

Been keeping my mouse in the middle of the "a." Do you think there are other avvies you need to get first, or is it just pure luck?

I got the avie not a while ago and the middle of the a strategy is the one I used. I find it more effective and way quicker.

I was lucky and got it on my first week back to neopets but I haven't been able to knock one down since. makes the whole wanting to move accounts thing very frustrating.

I got it the second time I ever played the game on my current account

I tried forever to get this, and I truly believe it is random. The screen froze when it happened for me, and I literally was like "NOOOOOOOOO!!!" Then I checked my avatars, and I had it. Do it every day. Though, Hagar and Skarl evade me.

I got it legit by using the "second a in again" trick and playing a few times everyday like it was a daily. But that was before I found autoplayers.

I used the cursor on the a method and finally got it a couple of weeks ago. Got a unbuyable coconut too!

Definitely aim for the second "a" by placing the tip of your cursor in the center of the round part of the letter. 

 

 

As far as any other tricks, there really are none - it's unfortunately a very luck based game. You'll get it soon enough! Good luck.

I got mine fairly quickly. Took me a few weeks of playing daily. I've heard that if you play daily, use the "middle of the a" trick, and play on your birthday your chances are supposed to go up. I don't know about the birthday thing, but the first two worked for me!

i believe the best way is to autoplay it on the manager. plus it saves a lot of time aswell

The only tip i didn't see here: try to do it everyday around the same time. I got it 2x doing around 21:15 nst

I noticed the AoB almost always gets me the 300np award. I found a .swf link on the Neoboards, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I tried for over a year doing this as a daily and never got it. But then when I started using ValorSuite I got it only a few attempts! Gotta love/hate random avatars!
