Wow, that is so fucked up.

Anyone else would have killed four people and had the book thrown at them.

He got probation... Not jail time.

And I sincerely hope you know what it means to throw the book at someone.

oh I see. I did not read it. He's not so unlucky, I guess.
yeah, you throw a book at someone.

I still prefer that over probation.

... It means you punish someone as severely as possible so no I don't think you'd prefer that over probation.

I feel bad for the families of those 4 people, someone killed the ones they loved, and the killer gets a slap on the wrist. Wow, America's justice system is extremely broken.

Have Money? Great, you get off!

No Money? JAIL FOR YOU BUB!

Is what I would call our "justice" system now.

 YEAA TEXAS!  :sarcasm_ha:

If you think America has light juvenile punishment, you should have looked at Japan's system. I remember watching a video a while ago on how Japanese juveniles would commit a premeditated murder (not manslaughter) and only get a 3 years probabtion max.

And on another note, Texas executes more people than any other state and this person doesn't even get a slap on the wrist ...

It's really fucked up how it's so easy to get off when you have a lot of money behind you. Celebrities get away with driving under the influence and hit and runs all the time.

Anders Breivik, the guy who killed 77 people in Norway, only got 21 years. How fuck up is that?

Texas also is the second most populated state... so they have more people to execute.

That doesn't mean anything. The fact of the matter is that this reckless piece of shit killed 4 people because he thought he was cool drinking at 16. Nobody is above the law. He needs to do major time. 10 years of probation is nothing, the judge should have just stuck a giant "Hi, I'm a corrupt scumbag who takes bribes" sign on his head.

He'll probably fuck up during his 10 years of probation anyway. Then he can serve his time.

I didn't say it didn't matter. I read the story. I agree that 10 years of probation is nothing. However, I don't think the parents should be punished for it, as I saw people say in other places. People are responsible for their own actions, even at 16. As much as I hate the thought of someone's life totally destroyed by something so stupid and so young, probation plus therapy isn't enough.

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize that you tell me how to think... Besides, there's not really anything you can do to change it. If he doesn't learn his lesson then he's going to fuck up and serve time.

If he learns his lesson and gets help then great.
