She looks like a combination of Lorde and one of those blue people from Avatar, but they are wonderful

Yeah, she's got an interesting face. Reminds me of one of my favorite Star Trek characters. But yeah they were magic on ice and I loved the footage they showed of them skating together since they were tiny kids.

I've been watching the coverage on NBCSN where Johnny Weir does the commentary. I love Johnny Weir. Whenever there's a question in my mind about what's happening, he answers it right on cue in such a way that is simple for me to understand.

Who saw Bode Miller cry the other night. Usually I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching grown men cry, especially men I hate like Bode Miller, but that was difficult to watch. :( It made me miss my brother. And my brother isn't even dead.

Ahaha every time I see Meryl Davis, I can't stop staring at her, thinking about how weird she looks. She really does resemble an avatar. But I'm happy they beat those boring-ass, poorly dressed Canadians.

I was so excited when I found out Johnny Weir was commentating. He's perfect for the job.

THE OLYMPICS SUCK

At least the women got silver.

I don't even like hockey that much. I live in Texas. So who even gives a shit. Let Canada win their hockey, it's not like they have anything better to do with their time. *looks out the window, bottom lip trembling*

I'm more mad/sad/disappointed over Yuna Kim's snub. I don't know a ton about ice skating, but damn it she earned the gold.

I know a lot of people are mad about the South Korean princess, but honestly, I thought Yuna Kim's freeskate performance was soulless. The short one was good, but through the long one I was bored, and it didn't seem effortless for her. But usually when I think a performance isn't that great, they win, so I was surprised the Russian got gold, because I thought her long program was amazing. All in all, I'm just happy none of the American girls won anything, they seem like uppity, entitled little bitches and it brings me joy to see people like them fail.

I did watch today's game, but I only saw what was visible through my fingers as I had my hands over my face in disappointment the entire 3rd period.

I'm going to have to agree agree with you that it wasn't Yuna Kim's best skate, although she was fucking flawless in the short program and I think she deserved at least a couple points more than the Russian and Italian girls, which would have given her a little bit more of a lead. I felt totally indifferent when Gracie Gold fell, but I still feel sorry for Mao Asada.

Woooo go canada! Can't wait for the game tomorrow but best of luck for everyone =). Shame about the Yuna incident since some of the judges did seem to score unfairly. And SK tends to be good at holding grudges.

I can't wait until 2020 for the Olympics in Japan so I can journey to the promised land and be welcomed with open arms to cheer on my other white and barbaric sports brethren.

But seriously we need more Olympics on this side of the world so I don't have to wake up at 3 AM to watch everything.

The last Winter Olympics were in your country.
