The last Winter Olympics were in your country.

Yeah and I'm thankful for that.

Or at least I would have if I wasn't an arse 4 years ago and thought sports were "lame".

I keep missing all of the events   I've only seen curling and speed skating...

However, to be honest, I was entertained for a good 2 hours with curling

Russia... *somehow* got the most gold medals despite not even being on the top 10 in 2010.

Somehow China won the most gold in Beijing and Canada won the most gold in Vancouver. The desire to win on home soil can be a huge motivation, especially for a country whose performance 4 years ago was such a failure.

Curling was one of those olympic sports that I did not understand the allure behind yet i always found myself mesmerized! That and speed skating!

I have CBC. I can't wait for my high quality, Canadian produced programming!

But it's NBC.

Quality NBC programming such as The Blacklist, Community, and Hannibal return this week.

Also network shows that have been stalled also return this week such as ABC's Revenge and Agents of Shield, CW's The Originals and The Tomorrow People also resume.

I despise Nielsen ratings for reasons such as this but that's the world we live in.

I'm so excited for Hannibal! Also, during the day, the Olympics programming was taking over USA networking which means I didn't get my Law and Order SVU marathons, unacceptable!
