Jut wondering, does this program buy stuff as well, or just measure restocks? Probably a stupid question, sorry in advance xD

Thanks. It's been a slow few days for me actually. Constant hospital trips with the gf are slowing me down.
I shall be back up to full speed next week though :D

You could run a VM running windows within Mac. Oracle's VirtualBox is nice, and you can always get free (and illegal) copies of Windows 7. I think there was a Mac client being made, but idk if it is still being developed :/

I have VMWare Fusion installed, but honestly it slows down my mac sooooo much that its not even worth it.

I can play MapleStory on it (which is why I downloaded and installed it), but I have to do it one at a time because my Mac gets too hot/slow if I attempt to do too much (even though its a new macbook pro that I replaced under a year ago)

That sounds like a problem with your macbook. I've had a MBP 2013 Retina for just under a year and I regularly run dev programs on both OSX and Windows with VMWare Fusion. Your Macbook should be able to handle it... :(

I haven't tried just running programs rather than MapleStory.

I also only put enough in the partition to run MS rather than download a multitude of programs, but I literally got this macbook in January

It may be maplestory. That game, if I remember correctly, takes a large amount of data, so when you try to run it inside the program on your mac, your mac overheats because of all the energy it needs to use to run all of those things. (sorry if I'm not using the correct words. Basically maplestory, plus the VMWare most likely takes lots of power, so the mac overheats/runs slow.) It's odd though because you said you got your new macbook in January.

Try using bootcamp instead. You'll need a copy of windows though (illegal/free/legit doesn't matter). I use bootcamp, and I used to use it to play maplestory, and my mac never ran slow nor overheated.

I have a disc for Windows 7 thats real (from an old computer that I don't use codeword for stole it from my lil bro)  I could never get bootcamp to work for some reason, but the thing I dislike about bootcamp and enjoy about VMware is that I can have my windows windowed on my mac screen, and I can play it through there (and my mac at the same time).  Whereas with BootCamp if I remember correctly, its booting entirely the single other partition, and can't run both of them at once?

I missed the party where you said you were running MapleStory -- running a game within a virtual machine is a bad idea, VMs won't provide anywhere near the same performance graphically. Typically anything graphics-intensive shouldn't really be done over a VM.

If you use VMWare Fusion you can run a virtual machine *from* your bootcamp partition, but that probably still wouldn't help running anything graphically intensive. However, it should be fine for our program, it's exactly how I run it ^_^

True true.  I also had to edit the code of the virtual machine itself to think it's an actual machine so that I could play Maple Story, they dont let VMs play lol.  I dont know if that would create problems, but I dont think I could leave my VM running all the time, whereas if I had something I could minimize on my mac it would be easier.  I don't know how or why my computer is so slow, but its horrid.

Yeah it is now. At first I wasn't very paternal.
Still a pain we've been to the hospital 5 times in just over a week.

Congrats! Is this a good or bad thing lol

It's good in the long run.
Now it's just expensive. Lol

Are you talking about advanced membership?

If so, here (right column), you can buy a month of advanced membership for 6million.
