Unfortunately the app doesn't support Windows XP. It's just too old.

It's my fault. I fucked up big time and deleted the wrong table when I was working on something to speed up the website.

I don't have much access to other parts of Dan's server and I've pm'd him about it but he doesn't appear to be online at the moment.

 

I'll do everything I can to restore as much as possible but I don't know how much that is yet. Your awards won't be taken away of course... I hope to restore or at least reconstruct the user stats. So far I just have data from the first 100 or so restocks.. -_-... I'm clinging to the hope that Dan may have some sort of backup. Anything is better than nothing.

I'm REALLY sorry and it won't happen again.

Making sure we had an effective backup system was one of my highest priorities

 

FYI, the data on the front page only displays restocks for the last 12 hours, so that's why it's blank at the moment.

 

We have lost some data, but only around 18 hours worth of restocks, which given our current count is pretty insignificant. Quite a bit better than potentially losing *all* of the data,

 

Buying of items will most likely be in for this weekend sometime. You'll be able to specify a min profit margin too. :-D

Will the buying feature also include implementation of the restock algorithm?
And it might be a good idea to make sure that only codexians can use the buy feature, or restrict it to people with x amount of restocks recorded (maybe 100).

 

We're going to be restricting the buy feature only to people with a certain amount of restocks. Most of you are already way past the threshold.

 

The first cut of this buy functionality will be to continue refreshing in the same manner it is now, but it will attempt to buy the profitable items it detects -- while the eventual (and overall) plan is to implement an algorithm to accurately catch each restock with minimal refreshes.

 

We have everything we need now, we just need to get the time to implement it into the app to deliver a better experience to all you guys helping out with the analysis

Hey guys, just a quick update - this functionality is now mainly written and in (screenshot below!!).
 
What I'm looking for now is a few people who are able to test this new functionality for me.

This new buy functionality is newly written and as of yet untested, and also contains some big changes under the hood -- so it would be great to be able to deploy this out to just a few of you and we can iron out any bugs early.
