I've seen Lost, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, most of Doctor Who, Skins UK, Misfits (although that might be Hulu), Parks and Rec, Bates Motel, Bob's Burgers ect..

I could never get into How I Met Your Mother  :shit: ugh or Breaking Bad just cause I got bored. We also watch most of our shows on Showtime or HBO like Shameless (US version), Californication, Game of Thrones, True Blood ect...

Whenever I'm bored and can't think of anything to watch I usually go to Archer, Law and Order or Intervention. Unless I'm going to sleep, then I watch nature documentaries or the Moving Art documentary series I think there are 4 (flowers, forests, deserts and ocean). I highly recommend them if you like falling asleep to classical music and pretty nature cinematography like me.

There's a new Netflix Original Show called "From Dusk till Dawn" I've only watched the first episode so far but it looks alright, interesting storyline so far.
Anyone else watch this?

I think Misfits is on A version of netflix, I'm not sure if its in the US or the UK.

I love HIMYM though! and BB is slow sometimes, but man I loved that show too. My bored go to is Parks and Rec.

I've also been watching Ink Master on spike, that is a fun show if you're into tattoos.

It's based on the 1996 film.
It's so weird to explain lol I'll copy and paste what google told me:

In this supernatural crime series, Seth Gecko and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard "Richie" Gecko, are wanted by the FBI and Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez after a bank robbery left several people, including policemen and Gonzalez's mentor Texas Ranger Earl McGraw, dead. Heading for the Mexico border pursued by Gonzalez, the Geckos encounter former minister Jacob Fuller and his family, whom they take hostage by commandeering the Fuller's RV. Drug lord Don Carlos reroutes them to a strip club populated by vampires that all must fight until dawn in order to survive.

During one of my summer breaks I watched every single episode of Buffy on Netflix. It was awesome. And then very sad. Because I binged 8 seasons of like 22 episodes which is like 132 hours of television assuming each one is roughly 45min

I eventually got into GoT and I have no regrets. I made it a habit to watch it with a friend on Mondays. It's definitely the only show that I have enough patience to not wait for the whole season to come before engulfing it all.

I don't care for Sherlock.

Spoiler

Spoiler

How far along are you in Dexter? I never saw the last two seasons but season 1 and 4 were pretty amazing.

So apparently I'm on Season 4.11. I don't know about Dexter, but it's something I have to watch when there is desperately nothing else... As much as I advance I always feel as if nothing happens. It's painful at times, but I can't say I don't get through.

I'm in the middle of Breaking Bad, I was late to the party but so far I'm loving the show!

Omg... I really want to watch Breaking Bad to bandwagon, but after two failed attempts at finishing the 1st season I've decided to wait for someone to watch the whole thing with me so I have some incentive not to quit. :(

Have you tried Bates Motel?

Bleh... Bates Motel. I could only stand one episode after

Spoiler
Besides, the characters (naturally) just pissed me off.

So for movies I would recommend watching "Silenced." It's a Korean film, really brutal and long dealing with sexual abuse in a deaf school. Apparently based on a true case, and the movie sparked major reform in child protection when it came. Be warned, it's extremely graphic and it's the only movie I've balled (multiple times, at that) at. "Black Hawk Down" is also good, as is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo extended (Swedish) trilogy.
