I don't see why not? You can enter your own contest, most rules are just don't vote for yourself.  It's anonymous until the results are posted.

I won't really have time to participate on the first one, so I wouldn't mind beig out of it
I was thinking of choosing a funny/weird image, like the caption contest, but with a focus point, like a person or an animal. The contestants would have to Photoshop the thing into other images. Check the subreddit, there are tons there :3

On the HP-forums we used to have 'Avatar of the Month' and 'Signature of the Month', in which users' avatars and signatures were nominated as the best (sort of like best dressed). There were free rounds as well as themes. It caused a lot of users to put great care in their forum appearance. Would anyone be interested in such a thing?
