Biggest disappointment last year was Altador vs Tyrannia.

Not a disappointment from that angle, just everyone on neoboards was billing it up to be some great match and it instead was a romp. I expected some good drama to come from it and don't recall it ever happening.

It was because the drama had all but fizzled out by then. Everyone was just "oh cheater vs cheater, so... anyone want to drag a cheese grater over their balls while we wait for the result?"

No one was bothered by then, plus we'd already beaten them once iirc

Yeah, I figured that the fact it was near the end and people had gotten tired of it by then had a part to do with it. Was stilling holding out hope, though.

So I'm thinking... the team could definitely not be faerieland, just a cover for those not part of codex and those who haven't had access. But tons of people will join, because they think it will win...

The AC doesn't work like the Obelisk War. 

 

The war relies on total points per team. 

AC seems to work on average points per player. 

 

That's why when we inject a large amount of all star players into a small team, we make a big difference.
