Couldn't fit my face in this time. The book is "Little Women". Also, I can't draw at all, so have this really bad stick figure. (Does the copyright renewal disqualify it?)
It says 1975 so it must have been printed after then.

I just checked apparently it was printed in 1868, because the author died in 1888.

It has to be that specific copy of the book that was printed over 50 years ago.. not the content of the book.

Ah well. I found one I believe works. Tell me if it doesn't. (1st edition and 1st printing match the copyright date of 1957, so I think this one works).

As mentioned before, the copyright year is not the same as the print year.

Is that a rotary phone or just a phone with the buttons arranged in a circle?
It is a rotary. Does look weird in the image but...
I could always take it again I suppose (though I was given credit for the yearbook so I don't see the need)

This time it is. From Amazon:
The violin hunter: The Life Story of Luigi Tarisio the Great Collector of Violins Hardcover – January 1, 1957
Google Books: Day, 1957 - Violin - 256 pages
Library of Congress: http://catalog.loc.g...all&recCount=25
http://biblio.co.uk/...igi/d/488296659
It was reprinted in 1964, but published/printed in 1957 the same year that's on the picture.
Would you like a picture of the actual book?

No in the book it should actually say when that copy of the book was PRINTED not copyrighted.
The physical copy in your hands.

Not all books have a print date anymore. Most over-50 books should though - it's often on the page before the copyright plate.
And please, everyone, bear in mind that whether or not images are accepted is up to Nymh - nobody else really needs to question their veracity unless someone has made a very obvious mistake.

Thank you, but here's the page before the copyright page. Keyword being "should" this one is an outlier.

I wasn't trying to question her beforehand, mostly just trying to help her out so it would be counted ^.^ The 2nd image she posted didn't have any issues imo, so I didn't say anything.

Aye, we have several with the same issue I think this book is fine.

This ^ I wasn't trying to be like THAT ISN'T GOING TO COUNT YOU LOSE! I was just trying to make sure she understood the difference as she didn't the first time.

I'm at the mall hunting down a phone. Be it a toy or not.
I'm scared an employee will see me struggling to take a selfie if I find one.
If they catch you, just hold your finger up to shush them and act like you're busy talking on the toy phone.

Unfortunately Walmart is apparently too cool for rotary phone toys. They have some for the cashiers, but I'm certainly not sneaking up to one of those.

I went to the shops to see if I could get a toy rotary phone. Apparently, it's not a thing anymore. I'm at work now and there's a piano book under lock that's definitely over 50 years old in the chapel. Is it wrong that my first thought was how to break into it or does the end justify the means?
Definitely justifies. YOU GOTTA BE COMPETITIVE IF YOU WANT TO WIN!

That's my sister. She makes an average of 20 selfies a day. We were at an antique shop and no rotary phones were there. Only chandeliers and enough dust to make anyone asthmatic.
Insider flap.

So, the library by my place is absolutely brand spanking new, like 4 years old, and I went through half of the place to find this.
They both look like they're passing gas. Although, the boy is much better at it which makes the father really proud?
