I know this was mentioned before on another topic...but never really answered my question and didn't want to revive a 2 month old thread.

So lately i have been wondering about my buy times... i have buy times around "Bought XXX: XXX NP in 1981ms"

I have done some research on normal buy times and found that you should not autobuy items in less than 2second..or else there is a high chance you will be flagged...most of the ppl have buy times around 2.5sec-3.5sec in other forums (i assume they prob use a different ab than abrosia)

However, based on this ab guild:

http://www.neocodex....-to-autobuying/

It mentions that a buy time (total) of 1.5second+ is considered slow, which contradicts what many ppl in different forums say.

1.I was wondering which one is more reliable (this guild or 2.5+)

2.If the 2 second+ neopets care about is the TOTAL autobuy time (Pre-Haggle + OCR) or just based on OCR.

3. Also, I was wondering in the autobuying log for abrosia, is the "1981ms" only the OCR buy time or actually the total buy time for MS Pre-Haggle + OCR..i know in setting it mentions only the OCR delay is factored into logged buy time but i just want to make sure i understand this properly..does it mean my total actual buy time is 2981 assuming my prehaggle is 1sec instead?

Thanks.

The 1981 is the OCR and Pre-Haggle combined. I feel like that is a safe time. In almost five years here I have never been frozen for ABing (knock on wood) and all of my times are around 1900ms and lower, so that should be fine IMO.

Roughly 2500ms+ is pretty safe while not being way too slow. But any way, as people have previously stated, ABing in stamps is as risky as it can get, magic is a level under stamps. The key is to humanize it.

ic, i guess i have been doing it wrong...been buying in stamps with this time almost every day for 4-5 hrs.

I'll prob ab somewhere else and visit stamps like once a week.

If you stay away from the most dangerous shops for most of the time in a week, and limit it to say, once or twice (for less than 4-5 hours, with breaks) a week on stamps, your freeze rate should be significantly reduced.

i go hard in stamp overnight on two accounts. been doing it for 2 weeks straight on multiple accounts no proxy. buy times are 1500-2500. perhaps im getting lucky or it is mainly based on buy times. i havent gotten an 98 or 99 stamps so maybe it depends on what items you buy?

I don't think it matters what items you buy. But if you do happen to nail a really really expensive item you might just get flagged, if your buy times were too fast.

it's better if you create some spare shells beforehand so by the time you get frozen your shells would have aged.
