i had over 1000 MSPP but that account was frozen. i didnt have a chance to even move them. i will still duplicating when i was frozen XD

SuAP are probably a higher priority than MSPPs right now as far as removal, at least. MSPP cards are totally useless except for an avatar but players can use SuAPs for easy battledome wins. It's probably easier to figure out what are legit SuAPs and dupes since they were a lot fewer of them in circulation before this.

 

 

At this point I'm really baffled that they haven't done a rollback, honestly. Having staff comb through thousands of accounts for dupes has to be a lot more time-consuming and professionally-embarrassing. Surely they have a recent backup they could revert to? I mean yeah they'd have to pull the site down and fix the code to stop people from abusing it all over again but come on now.

Does anyone know if all the exploits have been patched? I think the MSPP dupe is still working, but I haven't tried it since this morning.

Neopets is such crap anyways. Maybe they should go back to giving out toys in burger king kids meals. I remember that is how i found out about the site.

As long as @Dan doesn't say a word that it is Patched then it isn't. It's just that now TnT are deleting all MSPP that is known publicly throughout Neopia so it is put to a temporary halt; oh don't forget the freezing if you planning on selling them

I don't think this is the end of the site, but definitely a new low point. Technically I'd say the site has been withering for years as more of the target audience has moved to smart phones and tablets while Neopets mobile apps are still TBA.

Yeah it failed, but at that time mobile was no where near the popularity and what not that it is now.

That mobile service ended back in 2009. They've had plenty of time since then to adapt to new platforms but don't seem to have bothered.

 

 

Also it blew chunks and it was pretty obvious 3/4ths of the things they planned to put into the Neopets Mobile service were never actually released. All you could do was make a Lutari and feel alone on an island.

It's coming. That was one of Jumpstarts first things to do, now it's just a matter of is there going to be a big enough player base for it to be worth it.

neopets characters are cute enough to attract new crowd. even if the app failed, it will reveal neopets existence to the world.

They would have to create a whole new world out of Neopets or maybe like an island just like the Lutari's for it to be synched with a phone app, that means a new game, new items maybe, new layout etc. I doubt Jumpstart has even started to even sketch a plan for this.

The basic premise of Neopets as it is would integrate fine to a mobile app: make a pet, dress it up, brag about it to your friends. If they plan to carry over features like the battledome/shops/chat boards they might have to mess with stuff a bit more. It'd be interesting to see how they'd update things or if they even tried.

That's exactly their plan, I believe. Making things like customizing/battling/chatting easier to do on mobile.
