Long story short, this person who felt so indebted to me won't refuse to let me go after doing something I could do in my sleep for them. I still had candy in my coat pocket and the pixy stix was the only thing that was wrapped unlike the sour patch kids stuck at the corner. So I said if they feel so strongly about it, pay everything you have in your wallet for this thing and I was half-heartedly of course in saying it. 

 

But fuck, they gave me everything that wasn't a credit card or any type of identification or the actual wallet.

 

And when I left the room, I gave the money to the desk to return to them. Luckily I never saw that guy again or else it'd be super awkward I didn't actually take the money and it's not like they could trace me unless they stalked the place.
