When I was trying to finish all my final projects so I could graduate, I spent a lot of critical hours on Neopets. If I'd had hearthstone at the time, I might have been okay. I shouldn't have graduated when I did, and only managed to due to the mercy of professors who liked me.

 

I never left Neopets take over my life in any way, despite the fact that when I was active on the neoboards I would spent my all nights there. I'm an obsessive person, but I manage to keep my obsessions just below the minimum tolerable to make me function properly.

Nowadays I don't waste more than 30 minutes to 1 hour on the site, because there's not much to do. But I know me enough to know I can't start playing something else. I actually tried to play Subeta and Eggcave, but thankfully they bored me to death after few days.

That used to happen to me, but Hearthstone's really helped me out. If I only refresh while waiting for a game/on the enemy's turn, it's much less likely that there won't be new content.

Thank you so much It went a lot better than expected. Still not there, not by a mile, but there's been a definite step to just open up and finally talk, and I feel it's a step in the right direction. I'm still cautious though and don't want my relieve to cloud my judgement.

I went to the doctor on Thursday and told my doctor about stopping my antidepressants. He did not like what I was doing but supports my decision to try. I have to call him every other week and check in for the first two months. He was near tears when we talked since he has a daughter who suffers from depression and he'sseen first hand how bad it can be when ssomeone tried to quit and it doesn't go well.. I'm week 3 cold turkey and other than a rollercoaster of emotions I'm doing fairly well. I'm pretty upbeat and trying to stay positive.

my dad got married on Saturday and while I've met all my now step siblings a few times this was the first time all 5 of us were together(me and my sister, and her 3 kids). I love them all and am excited for the extended family but I had a really hard time and felt like an outsider most of the time. Everyone in my family and my now step moms family is super religious and I'm not. My step sisters are models (not really, but 5'9" and gorgeous and skinny) and I'm just fat and average looking. So I was really envious and self conscious the whole time. I've always been in my sisters shadow even though I'm older. She's skinny, blonde and tan and pretty. I'm just insecure and probably always will be.
I was also on people overload. I like to be by myself and for the past 5 days I've been surrounded and had very little time to myself. I'm now home and looking forward to work tomorrow where I'll get some peace and quiet.

Well actually, there's a couple bitches. 

3/4 of them are pisces. one's a gemini, but we won't talk about him. 2/3 of the pisces I've turned down (the last is stardust guy in my status update.) I've always ALWAYS wanted to be like that with a pisces. They just set my skin on fire. My first kiss was a pisces, my first love, etc. I'm the most confident I've been naked and sober since like... high school. I just can't do it and it's driving me nuts and I want to know why I can't.

I feel really bad for Riley (my dog); she had fleas which I've gotten rid of, but she still keeps scratching. Her scratching is so bad that she's losing hair in the areas that irritate her. my mom and elder brother just gave me a bunch of shirts. and they're quite nice too. my mom always buys me clothes when she's on holiday, so most of the shirts she bought for me will bear some tourism slogans while my elder brother, who's working overseas, always buys expensive t-shirts made of god-knows-what-material to showcase how successful he is. because of this, i've never bought my own shirt in 5 years, i think. with this latest giveaway extravaganza i think i'm set for the next 10 years. yay.
