I only came out as bisexual to my mom a few weeks ago, so her bursting in the door to tell me the great news about marriage equality this morning with a smile on her face was the most amazing thing. I think I'll come out to my dad today.

Nice! Keep up the good work. Working out and hitting the gym will make you feel better and have a different outlook on life. I started running and it has helped with my alertness and my ability to not feel like crap all the time. Plus I am losing weight! It's a great feeling to be healthy and eat right.

Yeah my goal weight is 130! I was 130 when I moved out here in 2012. I am 203.2 lbs currently! Besides, I want to get as healthy as possible before my bf and I start making our family!

The conversation I started about it on Facebook got me an invite to share a hotel room for DRAGON CON too, which I've also always wanted to go to (well, when McCaffrey was there, I'm sure it's still awesome), and I looked at the lineup, it's amazing. So I've finally decided I want to be a broke, hungry, stag-traveling nerd. Husband be damned. He can sit at home and do math, but I need my nerdgasms dammit.

My niece turns 5 today. We share a bond like no other. When she was born she was 1lb 8 oz she was on heart monitor s and in the nicu. When she got out she was still on a heart monitor but she was a tad bigg I slept by her crib a lot . watched over her and babysat her all the time. Now she's 5 and I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. Happy Birthday Olivia!!

Found out last night that my fam is headed to Orlando on Monday. Finally seeing the new edition to Potter world! Also taking a little road trip down the Florida coast to see some Miami friends.

Got to hang out with friends and meet someone new. There was drinking, but nothing bad happened and we left the place as we found it.

Today I was reminded how loving and tolerant my family is. I've known since my 15th that I'm bisexual, but because it's so normal and okay in our family I never had to officially come out. So this week with all the great lgbt news going on, I realized I never even told my mim that Ive been with women. I mean, who tells their parents about their onenightstands, even if theyre of the same sex.

So i decided to tell my mom today. She laughed and said "what took you so long? It was pretty obvious."

In less than 2 weeks I will be gaining 2 new sisters(+ 2 brother in laws), a brother (and sister in law), and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. And I found out that one of my soon to be sisters and her husband and their 3 kids are going to be moving back to Oregon. I am so stoked to be an auntie to kiddos closer to me
