I spent some time outside by the pool. I forgot how good is to be out of my room.
Tell me something good that happened to you today.

Oh jeeze. I have another one.
Currently, I am overstuffed on some amazing spahetti I made.
Reasons why it's amazing:
- I strayed from our usual Italian family recipe and went out a limb
- I went healthier than I usually do: wheat noodles, organic, grass fed beef, fresh basil, etc. Wish I had tried it with fresh tomatoes instead of canned, but I'm not God, so...
- My husband, my biggest food critic (we live near Portland...food is a BIG DEAL), loved it.
- I know I did good when my toddler mutters, "Yum, yum, yum, yum," as she's shoving fistfuls of spaghetti in her mouth
Made me feel goooooood.
Lol. It's great when food is well received. Especially healthy food by children.

I know what you mean, went out and just hung out with the trees and stray cats and it felt really good.
I am now an uncle.
Congratulations. Also, Unkeil. FTFY

BSed the hell out of a paper and turned it in late (5 points off). Check the grade today and I got a 100% as well as "Emily, I really enjoyed your writing and you did a great job of connecting The Great Gatsby to the American Dream, he embodied it!"
Welp.

Yooo that was perfect omg
Today I went from having crippling anxiety over not being able to do my schoolwork to finishing all of it in two hours. So relieved and ready to enjoy my night.

A baby is found alive in the rubble of Syria. Amazing. I love their reaction, it's so vocal.

I went for a nice walk around the lake with my boyfriend, then made a pitcher of sangria (which I am now drinking).

Together with my boyfriend and visiting parents, we took a nice little day trip around London. (Although I had a minor ankle sprain. That was slightly less good, but still.)
