Found bagels at the store! HUGE deal for where we live, so I had bagels for the first time in a year,
This is very odd to me as my job is managing distribution for the largest baked goods company in the world. We ship everywhere under many different labels with many different products. Where do you live where theres no bagels? I haven't gone a day without seeing around 15,000 bags of bagels for a long time haha

Australia. Generally only available at Costco or high end bakeries. Occasionally as a sandwich. Haven't seen a beautiful garlic or onion bagel in years. :*(

I had money for soup, which I desperately needed. Everything non fruit is making me feel nauseous otherwise.

My uncle brought home a styrofoam box of live crabs (~10). I cooked and 4 ate of them (while everyone else just ate pizza) and it was glorious.

Our themepark announced this year's scarezones during Halloween, one of which includes a BDSM-themed scarezone. And all of the Netherlands is upset. There are sooo many newspapers that have written about it, and a number of Christian political parties have been outraged. They're making up so many stupid shit like that there will be sexshows and visitors will be bound and whipped. It's so hillarious how the media is sensationalizing it and making shit up Plus, they don't realize that similar themed scarezones and haunted houses have been in the park for the past, well... 8 years

Got a couple of waitlist notifications from my college.
Two of the classes I was really hoping to get into had last minute drops, and I'm first in line to fill them.
So now instead of "Films of Akira Kurosawa" and "Anarchy & Carnival in Culture" I'll be taking "Literary Works Of C.S. Lewis" and "Science Fiction & Fantasy Lit".
Still waiting on a spot in "American Literature 1865-1900", but if that falls through I'm definitely picking up the anarchy course again.
Man grad school is WAY better than the first two years of undergrad. Lovin it!
(Wishing all my fellow students a happy & successful fall semester! Good luck!)
**And remember, there's only 126 days (approximately) until winter break.

I got these cute notebooks I ordered in the mail today. They're from a company called May Designs, and they do pretty, personalized journals. One is a planner and another is a journal.
