No you don't. I just want to express my sadness of having to work.
I don't know, I gotta be careful. Trust no one!

Grad school started back up today.
Was a bit nervous at first but so far it looks like it's going to be an AWESOME semester.
Two classes with the same professor who appears to be the absolute coolest one I've had to date.
All the required reading sounds like it'll be quite enjoyable.
The essays are open topic so long as it's about any scifi/fantasy works of the 19th-21st century so you can bet your ass I'm doing at least one over The Walking Dead. Probably my analytical one and look at mainly the comics with some compare/contrast to the show.
There's over 15 opportunities for 25-point bonus credit opportunities (need 900-1000 points to get the A), and he's open to suggestions so I may very well get to do "Of Mice and Men", "Silence of the Lambs: The Musical" and "Welcome to Nightvale" live performances when they come through Oklahoma City.
Haven't looked over the second course (Works of CS Lewis) yet but with this guy at the helm I have zero fears. Going to ace both these classes easily.
Tempted just to knock out as much as possible over the next 30 days and be done (or close to it) for the rest of the semester.
Not going to lie, based on his profile, syllabus, and course work selection... I may have a new role model.
Heck, he only has a MFA and he's already doing my dream goal. I'm aboot 75% (or more) through with my MA. Would be awesome if I could one day be a colleague to my three fave profs or follow in their footsteps when they transfer or retire.
Livin the dream.

I've said "who the fuck cares?" so many times today that I think I finally know what to put in a tattoo if I ever decide to do one!
And I got a free vanilla & strawberry frozen yogurt at the beach this morning!

I'm trying freekah for the first time tonight. With mushrooms. I also bought a couple packages of my favourite organic veggie burgers that are kinda hard to find. It also has mushrooms.
I fucking love mushrooms.

As a fellow fan of mushrooms. Do elaborate what mushrooms were they.

Spoiler
I love watermelon ice-cream. The place which introduced me to it closed down when I was like 10 and I never found a good watermelon ice-cream since.

what kind of soup?
Potato, sweet potato, onion, garlic, carrot, pumpkin for the puree. And chopped white cabbage (we call it "couve-coração", literally heart-cabbage, I don't know how it is in English) and chopped carrot to add some texture.
I usually add a tomato or two to the puree as well, but it's Summer and I prefer to eat them in cold salads.
