I played some MC with my cousin (he's 12) who moved to another state 1500km away from me last month. It was great, we played while skyping and it was really fun, I miss the little guy, even though he was a paint in the ass sometimes we never had time to play together when he lived close to me, because I was always at his house when he could play, and when I got home to my PC, it was past his PC time, so this was great. Looking forward to playing a lot more with him

My husband is in London unexpectedly. Which means I'm not in Paris as expected. Both good things.

The finance people approved my husband's medical leave to be my non-medical attendant for my brain surgery next month. This is such a huge load off us cuz we're sorta poor and we can't afford to drive 7 hours away and stay in a hotel for 14 days, so the military is going to reimburse us. We'll still have to pay a fuckload for the actual surgery itself. But that is more manageable with my insurance and stuff. It also means my husband gets 14 days of convalescent leave to take care of me and he's using 14 of his vacation days so we'll have the entire month of November with him home to make sure I recover okay.

That's great to hear! The military really takes care of families (especially with my experience in the AF).

@Adam Yeah. My husband is Air Force. I'm just so relieved. I didn't imagine they would deny it but still, to actually get the approval is such a relief. I am juggling a lot between school and this. Soo, it's pretty great to have this sorted.

Another weekend as scare actor. Got drunk and got 'home' (holiday residence) at 5:30. Went to the holiday park's swimming pool and wellness to start the Sundaymorning. Got a chainsaw. Ran after screaming people. Have had 6 people dropping to the floor, had one person piss her pants.

My boss's birthday was yesterday and we're throwing her a surprise potluck bday party today and that means free food! And all the stuff being brought in looks delicious, even though I can't eat half of it, I'll still drool and dream.

I put a load of laundry in, read some of the paper I should have read today, am awake and dressed. I'm feeling positive. Interesting, because I'm going to go tell my Dr. that I couldn't muster the energy to get out of bed or shower this weekend, and it's going to look a little incongruous, but hell, at least I am today.

It is and it isn't. I drew it on for Supercon, when I went as Femme Sam. Needed a last minute costume, and well, plaid and a Devil's Trap is super easy!

The earrings are just some black dangles, but I picked up some DT earrings.

Nice to be back, for however long.

I delivered a talk yesterday in my didactics class which I thought was going to go completely wrong (if you read my post on the bad things that happened to you today topic you'd know) and it went surprisingly well
