It was my first day with my whole group of coworkers... they greeted me with a round of applause.

It nearly scared the crap out of me but it was really heart warming.

Totally made me want to cry tears of joy, after my anxiety attack went away.

Can't go wrong with gold & silver though... if SHTF I'd imagine copper would fetch a pretty penny too considering all its uses.

Plus it's kinda fun having multiple ounces pounds of copper bullion bars. lol

Absolutely! I'm well over 200oz now, and if prices were to randomly skyrocket I'd be a rich man =P. Copper is a great thing to invest in as well, because all of the uses, just as you said. There's so much copper floating around at my work, and it's the only metal that we really keep tabs on because of how expensive it can become. Oh gosh I really wish someone would smelt all sorts of pennies lol. I have a few pennies where just one of them is worth well over $30, and the less of them around, the more mine are worth .

@Lucille I know! I cannot believe it. I still wake up and remember "holy shit some dude poked around in my brain.." but it's crazy it's already been a month.

@Swarley I'm so happy with how it looks. I've seen similar incisions in one of my support groups and holy fuck some are gnarly because whoever closed up did a crap job lol (or because stitches and staples are messier, mine was glued and sutured internally).

I don't have any big scars, but I have one right next to my eye that I got when I was ~4, and it looks bad. Now it's not nearly as bad as a few years ago, I sometimes even forget which side it is, the stitches guy did a really bad job

And you have reasons to be happy, it's a really good job. Damn scalpel wizards!

Yesterday I went to a VIP party & opening of the David Bowie exhibition in a Dutch museum here, because my mom bluffs her way into everything lol. I wish I was only half as assertive as her. Either way, I had incredible fun

My coworker who I'm closest with today told me that everyone thinks I'm a scary bitch. I laughed. I am a bitch. BUT the reason is because I am quiet and keep to myself and do my work, I don't go around talking and making pointless chitchat with everyone. I'm just an introvert, but it made me laugh to think the majority of my coworkers are scared of me.
