Even though I wasn't great at the exam, turns out my "text" score was pretty awesome! I don't know how to call it, they give you a theme, and you have to write about it in 20-30 lines, but you need an introduction, 2-3 paragraphs of arguments, being pro or against, and a conclusion. It's not easy, you have to make sure all the paragraphs connect and you can't derail much from the theme. This year the theme was the persistense of female domestic abuse in the Brazilian society (something like that). I was really proud of my work, and I got 880/1000. Last year it was about child publicity, and mine was pretty shit, getting me a score of 740. So +140 points is pretty good in my book, and that already makes the exam worth it

 

Oh yeah, and now I have a good chance of getting into a private college with scholarship I HAVE A CHANCE!

I found the box I keep my DS games in. It's been missing since at least Halloween.

Its only been around 2 hours since today started and I guess being a little active tonight and early this morning would count as a good thing. @Jess glad you found ur DS Games xD I really hate when I lose things like that.. Infact I have a Misfit Shine fitness tracker somewhere in this damned house, unless its been stolen ofcourse but I remember sitting it down in 2014 and not being able to find it since xD

I had lessons with my high school band director again after a little more than a month without seeing him. I went in thinking that I was going to cancel lessons (since I now have a college professor teaching me), but I left knowing that I still love him way too much to stop taking lessons from him. Even if I am in a lot of debt, I'll still pay $20 to see him every week. He means too much to me <3

I'm excited about an RPG that I'm hosting at FB. It's an elimination game, that everyone should kill each other with Bombs, similiar like BTOOOM!. Of 32 people, only 11 survived and they're hunting each other for the win! It's like... super awesome!

I went to my college's bookstore today to pick up some books for my classes and I overheard a mom and her young daughter having a conversation about music books. I went over and grabbed my conducting book and heard her talking about the different books and how cool they were... It makes me happy to see kids so interested in music and this made me realize how much I really want to do music education and how happy I am I finally got the chance to do so

My gf's birthday is in a week and we planned on going to a restaurant we have been wanting to try for ages. We couldn't resist the wait and went yestarday night lol so in spite of the bad luck, we celebrated her birthday a week early . Food was great

I thought it was going to be a bit boring, just standing there for hours, but I actually got to listen to many amazing musicians perform and I had a good time It's crazy to think that they are so good and not much older than I am...
