Made a friend today.

 

Someone brought me a Toblerone bar because I did something nice for them the other day.

 

I also made a new friend today, gave her my number if she wanted to talk more. 5 minutes later i get a text saying "How soon is now?". Obviously the only reply to that is "What difference does it make?". If you get it you're a fucking legend, if not then you suck

Went to a roller skating rink last night - first time going to one before and didn't fall once even though I haven't skated in over 10 years. 

 

Also found out that I have more in common with one of my climbing buddies than I had originally thought. Not only are we both gamers around the same height and like to climb but we have the same first name and our parents have the same last names but the opposite (i.e. his mom's maiden name is my dad's last name and his dad's last name is my mom's maiden name). It's pretty crazy to think about that but at the same time when the names are so common it's not that surprising.

Got home a couple hours ago from my weekend away and after noticing I have fish for like a month, I haven't had the time to shower because I'm making the last preparations for my mum's birthday dinner party tonight. I'm finishing baking the cakes (can't have too many cakes). Then I'll drive to her home (preferably after a nice shower) to get the dinner done before she gets home from her massage day Carly gave her (she just wanted a "spa day" and saw my mum's b-day the best opportunity. Sneaky snake). Then I'll pick up the kids at their friend's house (WHERE'S CAVEMAN?). Then, if all starts are correctly aligned, we'll be having the best party of the year (so far). And booze. And food. Although I can't imagine any party with them.

Been watching some 71 year old guy from Florida play piano for the past 3 hours. His wife plays him a song for like 15 seconds then he'll improvise it, and he's nice as hell, I love him lol  Sometimes he'll even dual wield pianos like a boss. Went to Doctor's this afternoon for my annual checkup and stuff. First time in a long time he's told me I'm in really good health, and he's really proud of me and impressed with how I'm doing off antidepressants. He didn't think I would make it past the 2 month withdrawals but I did! Almost 8 months and going strong and I'm feeling fantastic.

The only downside was getting a shot ouch
