[Reppamon]

I'm Reppamon! I think this is actually the first time I've ever done a forum introduction post before, so we'll see how this goes!

 

Inane facts about me:

1. Yes, Reppamon is in fact a Digimon, if you were wondering! (This one if you're curious) Hopefully no one has a problem with liking Pokemon/Digimon around here
2. I, uh, have never actually played Neopets! Weird, I know! No clue how to play at this point, but there's always time to learn, I guess. xD; (I actually joined to get access to the Flight Rising section even though I don't have an account yet, but that 100 post limit is scaring me off a little bit)
3. One of my favorite video games is Okami, and I really love the Pokemon Ninetales, so my avatar image seemed appropriate for me!
4. I really enjoy photography and am hoping to get a good quality DSLR camera in the future! I also know how use a film camera and develop film and photos.
5. I'm actually pretty shy and am relatively quiet, so posting this is actually very weird for me. xD; Hopefully I can force myself the 100 post mark somehow!

Welcome. If you don't have an FR (flight rising) account, I give out ones completely free of charge. My list of accounts/flights available is in this thread, in the first post. Cross outs mean I don't have that account/flight anymore.

The 100 post count is also only for the hidden section, which you have to apply for after 100 posts and 30 days of membership. I believe the other section, the main section, is viewable at 10 or 30 posts. I can never remember which one it is.

I played Okami with a friend at a sleepover once, it had really nice artwork/graphics.

@Swarley Hi there! :D I prefer Pokemon as well, actually, Reppamon is just really cool and it's way easier to get Digimon related usernames. xD I've only ever encountered Reppamon already being registered somewhere once! Pokemon or Digimon, if it's a fox-esque thing or a cat-esque thing I'll love regardless! :>

I'm sure I won't mind if I can't) Ah, I see about the post count thing. I actually found this site through searching for FR userscripts for when I actually start playing though, and I assume any programs for it would be in the hidden section, so I guess the 100 post count still applies.

 

Okami definitely has amazing graphics and art! It's soundtrack is also fantastic and the story's really great! I'd definitely recommend playing it if you didn't finish it. (It's sequel, Okamiden, while not quite to the level of the original, is still a great game and I really loved it. :> )

Correct, the programs are in the hidden section, but 100 posts shouldn't be too difficult. I'm sure you'll find something to talk about, and we're all quite friendly so don't worry about being shy or anything.
There's actually a couple scripts on this website that aren't based here. I'll probably post them in the main FR thread after I give you the link, as these really aren't programs. They just alter the site a bit.

As for Okami, I would need to get the game and find my Wii. I moved and have no idea where my Wii is. I really want to play Mario Kart again.

It was my friend who owned Okami when I played it.

If you happen to own a PS3 (or PS4 maybe, I don't know how PSN Store PS3 titles work for PS4) there is an HD remake of Okami on the PSN Store! I believe it's $14/$15, so definitely worth the price. I'm actually in the same predicament with not knowing where my Wii is, as I also recently moved. xD I'm considering getting Okami HD to replay it because of it. (Okamiden is for the DS, by the way, if you were wondering)

I was actually a bit shy when I first came here, as I panicked when I couldn't get one of our programs to work, and posted in all caps demanding help. I'm still afraid to find that post and read it.

Then I felt bad that I did that, as I didn't need to be shouting at all, so I stopped posting for a while and just read stuff because I was embarrassed about that post, and I worried about what everyone thought of me afterwards.

I sort of gauged how they were when I was just reading, and discovered, they didn't care, and were actually very kind people. Even though all people have a point where you think they're a dick, or you're being a dick, I still like those dicks. They're my dicks.  Wait...that came out wrong...I can't think of any other way to put that. 

We are a family, and even though everyone in the world at some point can be dick, we're still a family. 

 

 

We're all a family, no matter what happens to us, and no matter what people post. We'll defend our own against any attack from a troll, or stick up for you if one of our members is being a huge dick to people.

 

tl;dr: Familia Primo ( I used google translate for that). Family First. (Which is also the family motto of the LeStrange family from Harry Potter). You'll find I have a habit of making refrences and I have a rabid fangirl side to me as well.   

 

 Anyway, sorry for the tangent, I have both a DS Lite, which is one of the few models that will allow you to play gameboy games on it, and the original 3ds, so I'm good to go with ds systems. I'd have to by a PS3/PS4, which would cost more than the game itself. Good thing I have a DS.

I can definitely relate to the shyness/nervouness, unfortunately. XP Yeah, this place seems pretty friendly, I'm sure it'll be fine whenever I post. I just have to find good topics to post in! (I hate feeling like I'm interupting a converstaion between people I don't know! XP;) I get what you meant with the tangent! xD True, nice that you have a DS! (My DS Lite is in really bad shape unfortunately, I do love my DSiXL though!) I'd definitely recommend playing Okami first before Okamiden though, for plot reasons! I played Okami on the Wii originally anyway and it still looks gorgeous, so the HD isn't necessary, just and added bonus. :3

@Alexiel (Sorry for the late reply!) Thanks for the welcome! It's pleasure to meet you too. :3 I'm glad my interests have received..interest! xD Your taste in Digimon, Pokemon, video games, dragons, and cameras is impeccable. (Glaceon is the best Eeveelution!) Man, I wish I had a camera that good, but alas, I lack the money.

 

I'd call myself an anmie fan as well, however my to-watch list is incredibly long at this point and I usually watch one thing at a time, so I am lacking in my knowledge of the classics. xD;

 

I'll certainly attempt to have a presence around here! Everyone here is so nice so far. And your giveaway thread definitely sounds interesting! I'm not very experienced with the whole FR battling thing yet since I just started yesterday, but I'll have a look!
