We can do like our Carnival, but Codex themed. It's a pretty big party from what I've heard.

 

I like Carnival's, Parade's, and Parties! LETS GET SUGAR HIGH ON FUNNEL CAKES!

 

When will the results be posted?!

They should be posting fairly soon, but knowing how these things goes, the tallying of the votes is a snap, but making the winner's announcement with proper formatting, copying&pasting award img links, and writing witty banter is a bitch to complete.

I would love to post them tonight, but it's proving kind of hard to put together this parade on such short notice.  I've got an orchestra (not the New York Philharmonic, though) and someone who can cover Anaconda (not Nicki Minaj though).  The floats, fireworks and display pics are all things that I had lying around already.

Maybe not a ceremony. That is way too extravagant for the Codex.

 

But a parade complete with the New York Philharmonic playing an orchestral rendition of Nicki Minaj's Anaconda, a high tech ecofriendly levitating float for each winner, and a fireworks display bursting into images of the category and the winner's display pic will succinctly suffice.

 

Why would we need the New York Philharmonic? I'm fairly sure we can put together a pretty decent orchestra from Codex members.

I play viola, percussion and can squawk out woodwinds decently.  Also violin and cello.  And piano.  Basically anything except brass.

 

Edit: but not the oboe.  Fuck oboes.
