I woke up with a terrible nightmare that I had beaten my girlfriend's ex for abusing her and everyone was screaming saying please stop it's not worth it. Seems like a good way to start off my day.

Went bowling, then to a bar last night. At 3 a.m. my truck wouldn't start. Had to leave it there overnight.  Ubered home. then had to get it this morning. Cold air intake wasn't connected and sensors wouldn't let it start. Damn new technology.

 

And I'm hungover as hell this morning.

 

And I lost 450m in pure/items yesterday.

I had to do a visa census check today, and in order to do that I had to have either my original degree certificate or original transcripts. Problem is, I had a week's notice and my parents are on vacation so they can't send me my degree certificate. I got my transcript in PDF form online instead and went to do my check. They basically said that this time they'll accept it but next time I need to bring original/stamped ones in order for it to count.

 

And then my friend made jokes the rest of the day about me being deported.

It's so stupid. They're saying that I did something in our in-house application that broke some user accounts when what happened was I pointed out to them that they broke some accounts and they might like to fix them and not break them again. Their response to my manager was "no jaredyne did that and also always does that and then we have to fix it". Like JFC I don't even use that part of the system, I was pointing it out as a favour as you're getting audited, and I have full database access so I can pull out the full record detail clearly showing exactly whom among your idiot staff who did the damn thing anyway so why would you make that up??

For over a month now I've been having a constant struggle with on of my professors. The subject is called didactics. You would think that he should be a really good/modern professor. Well, no. He is a complete asshole.

 

I've been putting up with him for the whole semester and the year is coming to an end (finally). However, I cannot handle the situation anymore.

 

Basically what happened was that he wanted us to write an essay about a topic which is in the syllabus but which is not going to be explained by him. Okay, everything good. I wrote the essay with one of my classmates and it turned out to be completely wrong (the topic is not easy at all, but oh well). So, we re drafted it based on his corrections. We handed in again and he asked for the previous one because he wanted to see what he had written (that's what annoys me, he is such a bad teacher that he doesn't even trust his own corrections, he would probably correct something in 10 different ways depending on the day). We brought the two essays and he said that we were still not there yet. We needed another re draft and to short the essay up (it was only 2 1/4 pages long). In addition, he said that since we were the only group which hadn't passed that essay, we had to deliver a talk about it during one of the last classes, providing technological support (a Power Point). How are we supposed to prepare a PPT of something that we have been doing wrong for the past month? We re drafted the essay from scratch, making it really summarised and only 1 1/4 pages long. Handed it again for the third time and he said "it's too short, it should be at least 2 pages long" WTF DUDE. I told him that our previous essay had that exact length and he said "well, show it to me". Another week went by and we showed him the previous essay and he said "Well I never said 1 page is wrong, I haven't checked it yet" I mean, you had an entire week to check a one page essay!! And to round things up he said "You haven't brought the PPT either. That shows how lazy you are" I almost lost it there. He asked us to go to his class on a thursday (we have classes only on tuesdays) and to bring him everything. I had to work, but since I don't want to re attend the subject I asked for permission and went to college to hand everything in and guess what? He was absent. Now I handed in via e-mail. I have to deliver the talk about it on tuesday.

I ate at BWW last night, thinking ok I've been on this strict diet for several months now, it wont kill me to eat a few saucy wings. I had teriyaki because I'm a pussy and can't eat hot stuff. I don't know if it's because the sauce was so sweet but I got so sick afterwards, I threw up in the parking lot

I walked into my step mom getting out of the shower.

I woke up at 8 because the power went out (I can't sleep without the AC noise). It was super hot and I couldn't get back to sleep.

 

Fast forward 4 hours. The food was super salty, so I couldn't eat the whole thing at lunch. Then I went to take a shower (power still out). Our water comes straight from a waterfall, so it's stupidly cold. If I didn't have to take a picture for my new ID, I would wait until the power was back on, but I had no choice. After waiting to create the courage to get in the water, I gave up and decided to "shower" in the sink. Only my hair and my face, that did the thing.

 

When I went to the place to get the ID, it took 30 minutes for my turn. Now everything is digital, so I had to write my name on a small screen with a DS-like pen. My name is too big for the screen, so I had to abbreviate 3 of my names, and it looked like a 5 year old kid wrote it x.x and to make things even better, my picture looks awful. I didn't realize I was making a butt face.

 

Today has been great so far...

My husband got angry with me and went to bed without saying good night or I love you, because I told him he made me feel stupid by bringing something (that he brings up every once in awhile) that I said when I was younger which was stupid. It's like, yeah, okay, I know. I was there when I said that stupid thing. You don't need to fucking remind me I didn't know everything when I was 18 (I still don't know everything and I never will) every couple months. He was like, "Man you're being defensive." And I responded, "Yes. I am. Because you bring this up a lot and it makes me feel stupid every single time and I don't need that reminder. You've brought it up enough." And then he went to bed without saying anything. He made me feel really bad. And I know he's under a lot of stress with work and my surgery coming up, so he doesn't respond to my defensiveness very maturely (which doesn't happen much anymore, cuz usually I'm together enough to be gentle now). Ugh.
