Ah yes, when you forget about a holiday and the rest of the world hasn't. It's hard to remember who is open for what anymore, seems like everyone has special rules. The clubs here in Australia often have rules like "open every single day except christmas day". Other places decide ot close for winter. I still can't wrap my head around it.

Accidentally dyed my hair back. Not sure if this is bad or good?? On one hand, my eyes are crazy blue now and my skin looks nice and olive... but my hair is JET BLACK. Trying to get it to fade a bit since its demi-permanent.

Just wanted to add to this that playing with baby kittens is a great stress reliever. Can definitely recommend kitten therapy to everybody.

I was invited to a sort of reunion by a friend (X) where I was told other mutual friends would be. It was a little expensive but I figured it would be good to catch up with them. I regretted my decision in like 10 minutes after meeting them. While waiting for our table, they talked about people, places and plans with their inside jokes, I didn't really mind because they are really close friends, but they continued to stand in a closed circle which physically blocked me from the group, so I tried to be polite and stand near them so I wouldn't have walked off on someone mid-talk but also so I would be able to catch up with one/few of them (I was still oblivious at this point). When some gaps in the circle finally formed (we were standing around and when people wanted to get through, we'd have to move; also some of them got hungry and wanted snacks), one of them got back at regular pace but nearing me...pounced(?) to reseal the gap next to me so violently that I could feel vibrations.

My friend (X) was amazing, I don't think it was obvious (hope it wasn't) that I was having a bad time after they invited me, but they did what they could to make sure I had a good time.
