The vaccine is made from an inactivated virus that can’t transmit infection. So people who get sick after receiving a flu vaccination were going to get sick anyway. It takes a week or two to get protection from the vaccine. But people assume that because they got sick after getting the vaccine, the shot caused their illness.
That might help explain source

And here the people who get sick more often are the ones who get the vaccine. Such a waste of money.

When I was at school (more than a decade ago) we had to get that damned flu vaccine. It made me (and others) constantly sick. Every damn year, the entire winter. Since I stopped, I've got sick three or four times lol.

I had an idea for a story where the government is controlling its citizens through mandatory flu shots

Maybe the vaccine isn't with the inactivated virus? It really doesn't make sense to get sick if the virus isn't even active, so they might use a virus with low activity or something, so that way you could get sick from it. But otherwise, it really makes no sense

I don't know what's wrong with my dog. He's been softly crying and howling almost every day these last couple of days. The last time this happened he almost died with an hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, but I know it's not that because there's no sign of blood anywhere. Last night he howled so high he woke up one of the girls and it took me more than an hour to calm her down and make sure he was okay before she went to sleep again. I've examined him carefully to make sure he's not injured. His belly seems perfect to the touch, no fractures... nothing. I hope it's just a calling for (even more) attention, or something he hears from the woods, although I'm not sure that's a good thing considering we ARE in middle of the woods. I'm freaking out, to say the least.

My VA stuff was denied for GI benefits. So, at this current moment, I am unable to attend school and finish my degree. Motherfuck.
