Seems like 15 mins and im banned. nots clear.

Do you guys just refresh slower now?

I've always assumed they were either micro-bans or some classic neo fuck ups. According to my bot i'm not RS banned and the dumped output shows most of the stores like chocolate/magic/books are out of stock but some like pharmacy remain up, I feel I've been gone too long from neo to assume but I think it might be for everyone.

Even in general, how long are you waiting in between your refreshes (if you know that)? I know most people tend to wait around 5 seconds or so before they refresh the shop again. You may need to wait a bit longer in between your refreshes  I would also double check to make sure you really are banned, as it's difficult to tell with all the shops auto-clearing now.

The answer is to not AB if you want to make sure you don't get RS banned. It's like abstinence.

Well that can't be true, even though there is risk doesn't mean the baby is going to be made.

Also there's protection now and days.

But i feel what your saying, I get banned without ab faster then with it?

It is all dependent upon refresh rates, and how long you restock.

Usually I will do 1 hour or so in a few shops. At a refresh rate of 1-2 seconds. Which is what I do when I manually restock usually, so it matches the ABing.

I think that the algorithm is based upon how many refreshes in a shop you have done within a certain period of time, hours etc.

With ABing, I tend to use 5-8 seconds to make it look more legit. When I used to legit RS, I waited about 5 seconds before refreshing the store.

 Sure, you could use 1-2 seconds, but I imagine that with actual legit restockers, they don't refresh every 1-2 seconds, usually it's around 5 or so (at least that's what the guides on JN/TDN and such say, and what I've seen RSer's answer newbies on the boards). 5 seconds seems to be the most common refresh time for neo RSer's. 

Oh, and if you want to let someone know that you've replied to them, or such, use this:

@MemberNameHere

It alerts the person after the "@" symbol that they've been "pinged" in a topic, so they know they may have something to reply to or such. Just linking to their profile page won't alert them that they've been replied to or need to look at something.

Now this might be a stupid thing to point out... but a lot of people seem to think they's RS banned when it's actually that a huge bulk of shops will empty in preparation for their restock at the same time.

Like, if you're not ABing, this could easily be the case. If you have the problem again, wait 10 minutes and try some stores again, you might be in luck!
