Hi, first, let me say I'm super new here, so I apologize if this is in the incorrect board.

 

My question is: Everytime I try to make a new account, I check if the username is available. Most say unavailable, but the ones that say available I try to make and it changes refreshes the page. Then I type the UN in again and it changes to unavailable. Any advice?

To me it only happens with usernames purged but not completely purged, though, so it says it's available but when you try to create the page reloads and the servers won't let you use it.

 

People already said it only happens when using Google Chrome, try cleaning the cache, if that's the reason.

I believe you should go clear some cookies from your GC (google chrome) with the help from........

Haha, thanks, guys! Cleared my cache, and tried Internet Explorer but still doesn't work

I actually had this exact problem not too long ago, when attempting to make some shells. I tried in Firefox and the same thing happened. After I tried an available name, when it refreshes and I try again, it says the name is taken.

@Athayde get your ass here. She does have a bit of experience with that problem everytime she tries to create a new shell to add to all the other 837.

That tends to happen if you use Chrome/Opera/IE. It's a cookies problem (Neopets is a shitty site!).

I never had that issue with Firefox, and I always make a new account after cleaning all the stuff: browsing history, cookies, all that jazz.
