I figured we could compile a basic guide to @Sweeney's Spellbreach game! This way we don't clutter his alpha-test thread with unrelated information and he can efficiently get bug information. This is a work in progress!
Character Creation
Spoiler
First you will need to make an account. Choose your username (this will also be your character's name), create an 8 character or more password, and select the physical characteristics from the available list. Don't worry, it seems that at the moment if you don't like your original choices you can change them!
Okay, done? Good. Let's go play! In order to begin accessing content, you will first need to visit Mac's Maps. He will give you the first map. This allows you access to the newbie area - the Forest.
Once you have the map, it will automatically be added to your explore map. Any obtained maps later must be manually added to your explore map to gain access to those dungeons.
Now that you have access, you can enter the Forest and begin adventuring! Click the forest and you will be able to fight scary trees. Every dungeon you clear will reward you with a variety of gold, experience and items. However, you must complete the entire dungeon to obtain the loot. The dialogue box "complete your adventure" is necessary to complete a dungeon and get loot.
Other important shit you need to know: Crafting hours are fundamental to this game (probably why Sweeney called this Craftgame originally). The game isn't meant to be played all day, every day. Crafting hours are used to craft items, train in the Dojo, mine and explore "unexplored territory". You get 8 hours every day. You need to use your hours wisely! Hours reset at midnight UTC/GMT (UK time).

What are the picks for? Is there a section that I unlock later on where a pick is necessary, or can it be used as a weapon?
The mining pick can be used at the Forest and the other pick (without a drawing) can be used at the Elemental cave. I don't know if there's more, but it only seemed to work in those places. The first pick can give you Copper or Iron Ores, and the second one can give you one of the three stones that Imps drop.
There's also a vending machine, which if you get the correct code will lead you to another fighting area. You can access it with tokens + special code
edit: i dont remember how to get access to it.
You get a map when you get a streak of 10 in the Fighting Pit.
Also, is there just one code? Because I got it at my first try, but it can't be that easy

yea just the one, its' really easy but I remmeber last time people having trouble guessing what it was.
I've always thought that if Spellbreach got popular, I'd also run a cheating site for it and double dip
I was wondering if you would double dip or if you would work crazy hard at making it uncheatable. How would that work though, if everyone knew the guy that made the site made the cheat engine for it? MAKE IT BIG SO WE CAN FIND OUT!
