We used to have 6 huge trees in our yard. Each year we had to rake them, and once the pile got up to like six feet tall. We then proceeded to jump into the pile of leaves from the roof.

I remember my first date ever with a girl happening on a typical day of autumn. Not sure if it is my best memory, but yea. I don't tend to associate memories with the weather or the season

It's not hot as balls.
It's cool, sometimes rainy (depending on where you live) and the trees are pretty as hell!

None. But that's cuz I don't really like hot liquids (a traditional fall beverage in the US is usually served hot/warm).

I met my husband in the fall. We became best friends that fall and shortly after started dating. <3

Yes, it's my favourite time of year. I would be perfectly happy if it was the only season. <3

I think it's a combination of the leaves and the air. Watching the beauty within each individual leaf as it changes through shades of yellow, red, orange, and brown. Listening to the rustling in the crisp, cool Autumn breeze. The smells of harvest.

Homecomings.

There are 3-4 high schools and a university in my town, and each one's parade route goes within ~40 ft of my apartment. -_-

Don't currently have a favorite one. Specifically anyways. Will always cherish the times my parents took me trick or treating in our neighborhood & downtown though. Vague memories of my very first one, being a clown, or the blue power ranger costume my mom made even though they weren't exactly thrilled with that show.

Breast Cancer Month. I support finding a cure for breast cancer, but the pink on EVERYTHING, annoys the bloody hell out of me. Plus, I don't like Susan G. Komen. I'm fine with small breast cancer foundations, but Susan G. Komen annoys the ever loving shit out of me as it's so gigantic. I don't trust very large organizations. Look at how much that CEO gets paid. Where is that money coming from exactly? Susan G Komen is a charitable organization.

Alright so if I had to pick one particular moment, it'd have to be the last day of last year's Halloween event. It's sunday night, we just worked for 6 hours, have been entertaining and scaring approximately 20,000 visitors, and then the bittersweet moment that the day ends and the awful realization that the event's over. But then, luckily, you go back to your bungalows with your colleagues, drink well deserved bock beer, eat snacks and have one last good time until we have to wait for another year to do it again.

 

7. When do you think Fall starts? 

As soon as I start prepping for Halloween, which is somewhere mid July lol

 

8. What makes you feel most Autumnal?

Gonna have to go with dressing up as a monster and scaring the pants off of people.

It used to be the muddy shoe prints kids left all over the floor, but now they're well trained taught to leave their shoes at the door when they get home.

Now, it's those days with that very light rain, that's not rainy enough to use an umbrella but you'll get wet if you don't.

I have a lot. Most of them include enjoying a beautiful day. South Carolina was especially beautiful during the fall.
