Oh, I see. We don't have a name yet but I'm sure it's a very similar situation.

@Jess Seriously? They don't have a website? What the actual fuck? xD HOW?! But in all seriousness, I hope you can get your internet shit situated soon. I know it's frustrating.

It's sooo frustrating. There's like 4 people in the whole office, so I know they talk to each other once in a while. Last time this happened, the woman told me they switched blades and forgot to tell us cause we're the only people on it, then asked if I knew what a blade was cause she's never heard of it. This time, she blamed it on the clouds. I have no idea how people pick careers around here.

Anti-GMO and pro-organic people. Especially when they claim to be pro-environment.

Well you can say what you want but to summarise, if there's even a slight chance you could pass on any form of medical or mental health issue which could adverse effect the quality of life, then you're selfish for having that kid.

Like I said, adoption is always an option if you have to fulfil that animalistic urge.

Frizzle, literally everyone has a slight chance of passing a medical/mental issue down to their children. In fact, I would imagine that everyone has a condition that adversely changes their quality of life. ie. how damn prevalent is depression? But talk to people who suffer from it, it is a huge life changer. I agree, I would have trouble having kids knowing that I would give them a 50% chance of something huge like trisomy or MD or something. But even then, most people have no idea they are carries for a disease until they have multiple kids. Also, the "animalistic" urge is not to raise children, it is to spread your seed, or else your fitness goes to 0. Just everything about the quoted post is wrong.

There is a difference between a KNOWING you have a 50% chance of passing a crippling disease down and unknowingly passing IBM down.

Frizzle was saying that having a child whilst being fully aware of the acute possibility of passing a disease down is incredibly selfish.

Don't ignore context to make your point seem more valid.

There's also severe inaccuracies in his post as well.

Depression isn't necessarily genetic and the vast amount of cases of depression are environmental.

Not everyone has a genetic medical issue and not everyone has a chance of passing a non-existent issue down to their children.

Stop completely ignoring specific parts of my argument to sustain your obvious ignorance.

Also, the desire to reproduce is animalistic in its very nature. There is no necessity in reproduction and it's actually dangerous/life threatening.

I don't understand people going through haunted houses with a torch/flashlight. "Because it's too dark". Well what the fuck did you pay for then?

When people go to the question mode of omegle and leave as soon as they ask me if I'm a guy and I say yes. It's the question mode, if you want to hit on someone at least go to the text mode ffs

My housemate has his space heater running in his room 24/7 with his door open. The thing has an automatic temperature control on it, so when the area reaches the designated temp the damn thing shuts off...but it won't shut off because his door is open. I've asked him to turn it off every so often, or close his door to save electricity, and he has done neither. If our electricity bill is anything over $200 (which anything over $100 is considered high, imo) I'm going to demand he pay most of it. I don't understand why people don't just fucking think about things. We don't live on base anymore, ELECTRICITY ISN'T FUCKING FREE!!!!!! I'm tempted to go 'trip' his circuit breaker every time he has his heater on, and door open. Fuck fuck fuck fuck you. I can't wait to not live with anyone in Arizona.

Just close his door. If he asks why, say it's because you don't think his door needs to be open if he's going to run a space heater. Your roommate kind of sounds like a dillhole though, from what you've said.

I don't understand people telling other people to smile more. I just got my hair cut a couple days ago. Someone commented on my picture, telling me to smile more (I was smiling, but my smile is sorta crooked and looks like irritated bitch face, even though it's not). It's like A) you don't fucking know me well enough to tell me to smile more, even if you did it's still rude as fuck, B) IF I do the traditional grin, my face seizes up due to facial tremors that once they get started, I can't stop, C) IT HURTS because reason B. So, even if I wasn't an outlier, it's still rude as fuck to imply someone's smile isn't smiley enough to be considered a smile. What if that person is insecure about their smile? What if they are depressed? What if they have bad teeth? I don't understand how people think that's polite, nice or clever to say. It's not.
