Thanks for posting this, a lot of these are really cool. I might check out 7cupsoftea, I know I have a lot of stuff I can't really talk about to anyone so that sounds like it would be really cool. I might send that to my friend who's dealing with some stuff as well. I appreciate you posting this  :)

I edited the original for you. :)

iKate had a post committed for all other countries. I had the link, but now I did a copy/paste in the spoiler so they are all directly on this page.

https://www.imalive.org/ is another online crisis chat with volunteers available to talk 24/7. It's pretty much the same as calling a hotline, except its over a messenger if you can't or don't want to use a phone.  :console:

Also if you're in the states, the Samaritans have a couple crisis services here offered by trained volunteers: http://samaritanshop...risis-services/ They have a chat similar to imalive but it's only available during certain hours, however their phone number is 24/7 and they also will speak with your via text message (afaik they're the only group that offers such a service!)

Hope everyone is doing ok.

@Melancholy

Would you be interested in added in Crisis Text Line? It's a multiple crisis hotline except instead of talking through phone, it is done through the privacy of texting. This is not a blatant plug because I'm a volunteer Crisis Counselor there, but it's super helpful for anyone being overwhelmed with suicide, relationship issues, self-harm, isolation, financial problems, grieving, school/work, and essentially any problem. Our main purpose is to guide the person move from a hot moment to a cool calm and offer resources if they need if through collaborative problem-solving and empathetic talk. If you just want to vent and sort through out the confusion only, we'e perfect for that too.

The service is 24/7 and all you have to do is text in to 741741. Keep note that the crisis counselors only receive up to 140 characters per text and currently, it's limited to the US only.

(PS If you're 18 or older, is currently a US citizen, and have no felonies (speeding tickets don't count), you should apply! After the 34 hour training program that is spread out, you volunteer 4 hours a week. I do around 10 hours a week and I say it's something that not only help you with your conversational and problem-solving skills, but you feel that your time is best-used to help people in a very supportive and talkative environment of other crisis counselors.)

Of course, I will add it to the post when I get some time after work.

The text lines for people too anxious to call are:

US: TEXT “GO” TO 741-741

UK: 07786209697

Oh, I see Kelvin already got the US one up there.
