Almost 30. Would give and do anything for a son or daughter of mine own...

But she's so adamant about not having one... always have and seemingly always will be that way... *dies a little inside*

Anyways, I'm pretty surprised civil war hasn't happened yet.
And I don't mean the Marvel movie or comics.

Sadly I'm not in the best of states if/when that shit does go down. lol...

Spoiler

I'm sorry you want a kid but won't be able to have one with your person. D:

Also, I'm still waiting for Texas to secede. I mean, they've been threatening forever.

The kids sitch will almost certainly be what splits me and the Boy up in the end.

I don't see why it would be, or why it has been moved to chit chat. There's a proper non-chit-chat question that could prompt some interesting discussions; perfectly reasonable for it to be in general chat until it reaches the sort of lengths of the good thing/bad thing everyday threads that then take up all of General Chat by being so routine.

I'm surprised Spotify hasn't removed my premium yet. I'm fine with that.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been moved to Chit Chat :p

While I had time to ponder on my many hours on the road today my sister and I were talking and we're both surprised that higher intelligence robots don't exist. Like I, Robot, or A.I., why don't I have a maid that happens to be a robot?

Because even if it was available, you wouldn't be able to afford it.

guys... flying cars exist. they're called helicopters!

i'm surprised malaysia hasn't won a single gold medal in the olympics yet. our best chance for this year, lee chong wei, was caught taking drugs last year in a world badminton championship. we're doomed for eternal mediocrity. baskin robins trolled malaysians in 2012 when they promised everyone they will give free ice-cream if malaysia wins a gold medal but of course we don't. :lol2:

I'm shocked there aren't better more accurate translators for language available.

Communication is so important.

Also I wish I could download languages to my brain.

Also shocked we haven't learned how to imprint babies with a ton of knowledge in their formative years where they can absorb so much knowledge and stuff. :3

I'm surprised no one ever invented a reversed microwave. COLD BEERS ON DEMAND.

welll they do have a "blast chiller" or something I have seen on cooking shows, which freeze or cool down drastically very fast. But I doubt it's available to normal people like us :p

Keurig KOLD is a thing now too, although beer k-cups would probably be absolutely disgusting.

Not healthy at all

I googled 'are potatos healthy' for you and page one says that yes, they are healthy as long as you don't deep fry them. So boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew.

dem carbs though, not good for you at all... well in moderation it wont kill you, but really I wouldn't call them a "healthy" vegetable.

Depends on what you mean by healthy. There's white bread carbs ('bad') and whole grain bread carbs ('good'). Potatoes have them good carbs and are high in fiber, helps with stool.

Team Potato. There are so many different forms of potato dishes, you could have a different one for every day of the week.
