Theme: Ocean/Beach

 

DO NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
(It's almost as if you liked your own fb status.)

These are kinda large ,but crafts amazing so open lazy ducks.

 

ENTRIES: 

 

1.

It's a mermaid tiara. Reinforced a plastic tiara with cardboard and then hot-glued seashells and fake pearls

Chinese style sea serpent.

Charms showcase a sea star/ star fish and shells found in the ocean. Blue beads signify the ocean waves and clear beads signify the bubbles made by the fish.

Made a Squirtle Cosplay with various cheap items (glasses were bought online)

Basically an underwater view of a sea star made of salt and a shell crown made of walnut shells, pasta and peas.

RULES:

1) An entry should be what YOU yourself have created, not what your friend/family member/coworker made

 

2) Submit a quality photo to me of an example of your work, this photo will be used in a poll for the community to vote for their favorite.

 

3) Along with your picture, you may submit a couple of sentences detailing what particular craft you do and any pertinent information on your picture.

 

4) Please refrain from editing or filtering the photos or overlaying any text. Photos should also be around 500x500, but there's no strict limit.

 

5) Entries that do not comply with these rules or the contest parameters will be denied.

 

6) Each craft must have the written word "neocodex" in the picture, so I know you didn't just use google images

A: There are so many crafts out there, so I will try to not be too picky when it comes to this contest because I want to see all our creative people submit something! 

If you're really not sure about your submission, please feel free to PM and ask! 

 

Q: Can it be digital?

 

A: No, physical crafts only please.

 

Q: How will the poll work?

 

A: It will be a public poll when the voting process begins. Everyone will have one vote.

 

Q: Does our entry have to be Neopets related?

 

A: Nope! Just keep it age-appropriate

Went with number 4 because that's pretty sweet, number 2 is awesome but I'm not sure how a dragon relates to the ocean/beach

Idk if it's my call to say, but it's a Chinese style sea serpent Like...a dragon fish sorta thing but via Chinese legends.
It's not mine (since I didn't enter) but in case why it was accepted XD

#4 is so fucking cool. I'd like to read the details how it was made from whoever made it after the comp is done.

 

Did not make it, but maybe glass soldered together into a prism? If so, I might wanna try making one myself since I have a soldering iron. Great job to whoever made it!
