It makes me cringe to think of how much money over the last 11 or so years I've spent on Neopets, between NC and other......well it has to be in the thousand(s) by now. For a while I was spending $30 a month alone on NC!

 

I don't really regret it though, I don't really game or funnel money into others games, it keeps me entertained and de-stresses me sooo eh

 

 

How much do you think you've spent? Do you regret it?

I've spent thousands with gc and lol but I'm proud to say I never spent anything on neopets XD

I think I spent about $90 in one summer when I started to really get into NC trading. But then I stepped back and re-evaluated my life and since then the shame has kept me from buying anymore. I've probably spent at least a grand on Maple Story though when I still played

And either I've gotten waaaaaaaaaaayyy better about spending money on NC or their stuff just isn't as good anymore

Probably like 30 bucks on Neo over the years. But I've spent a few hundred bucks on Hearthstone. :X

No shame... or only a little haha at least think about the people that throw hundreds and thousands away on real life bullshit, we all have a time/money sink. I'm trying to be frugal now because I don't work as much as I used to and my bank account is looking sad.

 

But yeah idk, back like two years ago NC trading was INTENSE but there aren't a lot of new items now that I would consider spending real money on. I really only look forward to the dyeworks versions of old items.

A grand total of $0 thankfully, but i can't say that for Puzzle and Dragons lol....I've probably spent $120-ish on that game.

Yep I ended up trading for most of my large wishes and I'm running out of pets to customize. Also I don't think many people play anymore, let alone spend money on NC, so it's pretty hard to trade.

Oh yeah, I've spent money on advanced/shells/proxies too so I guess add another $20 or something.

Less than a hundred for Neopets. All of it spent on here, including Advanced membership gifts for friends.

I am happy to say I earned back all of it and more, also trading here though! ;D
(Yes, Advanced *does* definitely pay for itself by the way, if you happen to be wondering...)

I've prolly spent around $500 too. Premium, random stuff, cards for the SFC's (which I gave most of away), and also plush toys, aw yeah plush toys.

I spent more than I would if I had known TNT was going to ban my account.
I had premium for 4 years: ~$380
During that time I also bought 3000NC every month: ~$1.400. Some months I would buy $50 instead of $30, so I'm pretty sure I spent way more than that.
This was when I was a legit player. Then got my account banned and, as revenge, bought the Ghostker battle set and 10M but I don't remember for how much.

When I was a child, though, I owned about 15 plush toys and had a subscription to the neopets magazine, which must have cost at least a few hundred dollars.

Probably around $500 or so when Neo was at its prime. I spent tons on NC and Premium. Now, I've probably made all that back by cheating and selling accounts/pets/pure

Including buying shells and premium and if codex membership counts, probably 35USD or so. Definitely money well spent, a new video game costs 60USD nowadays.
