I love my uni library too. It's not open that long though. Only 9am till midnight. I'm jealous! A 24/7 library would be awesome.

I've been there in the middle of the night and it's just so calm and nice Nothing here is ever open 24/7 so it's really special.

 

Happy Birthday, Nymh!   Cake shops don't sell cupcakes (apparently it's not a thing here?), so I know what I'll be doing this evening

In order to give everyone a chance to see this and prepare themselves, I am going to go to bed.  Will post the last round tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at around 7:30 AM NST.  May run the round for 36 or 60 hours so that I can end it at night when it's easier to tabulate everything and make announcements instead of having to try to sneakily do it at work.

 

Thanks to everyone for participating so far, I'm having a blast and I hope you are too.  I am excited about the last round!

ROUND EIGHT

(I was going to make a fancy banner but I had to have a Conversation with my daughter)

 

This will be the last round of this Scavenger Hunt.  We will be departing from our normal pace of one challenge per 24 hours for a  SUPER SPECIAL LIGHTNING ROUND

 

How this round works and stuff:

• You will be given a list of 12 different challenges, all of which are optional and do not have to be completed in order.
• Please feel free to post your pictures as you take them, or you may post them all in the same post when you are finished.  If you go this route you must make your submission before the round ends to get points for the round.  Late submissions will receive zero points.
• As this is sure to be a tornado of fun I will be trying to keep score as the round progresses, so please do not edit additional pictures into existing posts.
• There will be no bonus points or Super Speedy awards for this round.
• All challenges can be individual photos or be taken in photos together.
• Each challenge must be one photo only unless otherwise specified
• Make sure that your face, your sign or your easily identifiable tattoos are clearly visible in each photo.
• I can't think of any other rules
• Oh yeah, THIS ROUND ENDS at 8:00 PM NST on 8/10/17

 

THE CHALLENGES

 

• A piece of real life Neopets Merchandise
• A cardboard cutout of a person
• A bird bath, a plastic bird and a piece of merchandise with a bird on it
• A camping tent, set up outdoors
• A beanbag chair
• A hand mirror, a pirate hat and a collection of marbles
• An actual human skull (need to be able to tell it is real in the picture)
• 10 different things that are red in the same picture
• Someone wearing an entire outfit of animal prints (can be you)
• A ball pit
• Graffiti from three different places (can be three separate pictures)
• The sunset
