Second Annual Peepocalypse

Spring is springing, so it's time for me to cruelly stuff a bunch of peeps into a jar so they can mutate over a span of weeks while y'all try to guess how many I've smooshed together.

 

 

You must guess how many peeps are stuffed inside the jar. Do not include the ones sitting next to the jar in your guess.

 

 

Bonus Round


Guess how many blue peep chicks are inside the jar!

Ends: 5 April 2018

 

Rules

1. You must PM me your guess including the bonus round guess.

2. You may only guess once but you can edit your guess until the deadline - just be sure your original pm reflects your final guess (e.g. the first pm you sent me should reflect you final guess and you may respond to the pm saying you've edited your guess).

3. The person with the correct, or closest, guess to the primary round will win first place. Fear not though! If you guess the bonus round, you will also get the winner award and a prize. The prizes will be first come first serve between the winners. In the event that the same person wins both the primary/bonus round, the bonus round will automatically go to the person with the next closest guess. There are two rounds so you guys can have more than one chance. Of course, if we have multiple folks who guess the correct answer, everyone who guessed correctly in either round will receive an award + prize but prizes are still first come first serve.

4. Some of the prizes may be limited and will be marked as such. For example, I can give more than one winner 500,000 neopoints, if necessary. But I cannot give more than one user the Dappervolk pet pack.

I've never ever heard of peeps, other than being the short version of the word 'people', but I love them. Time to order 500 from China.

 

Edit: After a short google I found out they're actually sweets. Ew. I thought it was some kind of sponge-y felt-y Easter decoration. Still want to squash them, though.

They are not really edible, and apparently they do not dissolve in water, vinegar or dilute HCl.

@CrazyDaughter, I always thought they were marshmallows D: That is very disturbing, but does that mean they won't make you put on weight? I could get on board with that!

@Ladidia I have been trying to figure out how they could not dissolve in water,  I thought they were pure sugar with a little emulsifier added.

Mine's also unread, I wouldn't worry about it Poor Sudeonm's going to be crushed under guesses, maybe she wants to avoid the inevitable as long as possible
