They can definitely be turned into a basic colour without the need for a species change as well. I remember my fire cybunny getting zapped yellow, and then green a few weeks later while staying a cybunny throughout.

That's a species change tail! lol
A species change comes with a basic color. So that's not a color zap but a species zap.
To fix that up you can edit your zap from your "all zaps" page

Don't fix it yet though please I found a bug Im fixing right now.

Nono, it was a Yellow Quiggle, then it turned Yellow, then it turned into a Yellow Skeith. o-o

I'm a tard and I like mixing my zaps for a few days into one post, so that is probably where you got confused.

So it was a yellow quiggle and then it got zapped yellow? So basically stayed yellow? Then next zap it got a species change.

Mixing zaps in posts is fine. But for the system please do individual zaps. I ask for species the pet was during the color zap so I can accurately calculate statistics. IE: not all pets can be zapped alien. so alien stats arent counted for them.

Get your pet over level 20 then you shouldn't get those or nothing happens. Not sure about the nothing happens hopefully we'll be able to figure that out with the stats over time.
