Most people dont have the time to learn martial arts to the extent that they can use it on the street. What martial arts is useful for, is building up a lot of strength and flexibility. Plus they blocks can be pretty practical. A lot of the fighting techniques are definately harder to pull off on a frantic upredictable street fighter, yet you can still seriously put someone down for good with a good Martial arts move (like in karate, an open hand jab with your finger tips I believe to the center of the chest is a wicked move to wind someone).
Street fighting rules . Very fun to practice.
Youll have to dedicate yourself for that
Besides strength can come from working out, a huge bicep and abs can go a long way because a kick or a punch to your abdominals wont hurt cause of your abs

by the way, two years isn't a whole lot in TKD, it took me 3.5 to get a black belt, and that was with an easy instructor. What belt are you?

I'm not sure what you would call a butterfly kick simply because my taekwondo uses different words for kicks because my master was lets say limited in english
I understand him because he speaks korean so I dont have to know the english words for the kicks and my friends and I have just come up with some names for the kicks.
If youve ever heard of these names of kicks, I think youd have heard of this kick.
A 360 roundhouse kick comboed with a swift back kick?
Oh yeah that was my bad I started at 6th grade for tae kwon do and I'm 9th grade now o.0

Hmm, that would be about right for a western school. I think we are talking about the same kick, kind of... Is there a spin involved? Its too hard to explain in words, ugh.Uh I'm heading on my third year I suppose and Ill be black belt next.

But you should admit, wouldnt you rather have some nice big biceps and hard abs than rather know martial arts?
Youd kick ass

Who doesnt know how to punch?..
Besides, if you get punched in the abs, you dont even have to brace for the hit.
You dont NEED to learn how to take a hit when you got abs cause theyll take the hit and basically repel the punch involuntarily

I saw this really big guy I know (6'3 works out and all that), get wasted in a fight with some 3rd degree black belt in karate. Funny thing is this guy was like 5'6 and not even stocky.
Still being all muscular and ripped would rule

Some black belts suck though
Hey I guess martial arts can be useful but I bet that 5'6" guy really devoted himself to learning and are really good at his kicks.
But being muscular and all can also bring you girls
