I just start to get into graphic with photoshop..

Anyway I have hard time using Imageready.
Problem :
I know how to duplicate frames but whenever I edit the second frame the first frame change also which mean I cant make it animate...
I would really appreciate if you include screenshot and show how to do it..thanks you really much. :)

what do u mean edit the second frame?

like add a new layer?

if it is.. then it will apply to all the frames behind it

frame 1 is the master frame. (kinda lol)

I mean like in order to make it animate then you need to have more than 1 frame...

First question :
You make new frame by duplicate it right ?

anyway..whenever I try to edit the second or third frame different than the previous one..everything single frame change to exactly to what I just edited..

By the way..if you dont get my problem..can you please make like simple animate text..

well there are a lot of types.. but they use the same kinda principle anyways
so... here ya go:

frame 1:

then I create a new frame using the button above (look at the screenshot lmao)

and then use the move tool and drag the text over
you only see 2 bahbuu because it's int he process of Draging
Posted Image

so the result is
Posted Image

use the tween tool
Posted Image

a box pops up asking you the number of frames.. more frames = smoother
but slower.. get it?
I chose 10

end result:

another type of thing:
instead of just moving the text over, while highlighting the second frame I lowered the opacity of the text layer
Posted Image

then did the tweening again etc.

Posted Image

did it help? kinda brief.. but.. yea

as you can see, everything is done using the same layer
I never created any new layer

all I did was did stuff on the other frame

hey... this can be a tutorial LOL

yea..It is kinda what I need but I dont mean by making the word move..I want some thing like this

c
co
cod
code
codex

and each word on each frame so it appear slowly..but whenever I edit the second frame word the other frames change too :(

oh!! u wanted to do that

you can't add anything to the layer

a simple solution =... put each letter in their own layer

this is probably a pathetic way, but simple enough ...

make a new layer and type in your text
Posted Image

duplicate it (right click duplicate)

then on the duplicated layer, right click and click rasterize layer

then use the square marquee tool, and select each lettering and cut them and paste them. the pasted ones should automatically be on a new layer. then use the move tool and move them to the right space (which is why I told you to duplicate the firs layer, so you will know the exact spacings between each of them)

after u done that it should look smth like this
Posted Image

make them all invisible first (in this case I didn't invisible the first letter... im too lazy to do the whole thing, so im jus guiding u through the main idea)

Posted Image

replicate/duplicate the frame
Posted Image

do the tween thing (I chose 5 frames in between)
Posted Image

select the last frame and duplicate it
Posted Image

tween
Posted Image

end result:
Posted Image

just use that I taught above to do the whole thing

im not stuffed to do any longer lol

Ah, I had this problem. Mess around with the viewing of layers, that's how I got it.

Just hide and unhide the layers
