That is amazing Emily. I wish I knew something or the other of self-defence besides learning how to press the little top on the "Pepper-Spray-Can".
. I've always wanted Nunchucks, though past expirences with my cousins have left me scared of doing anything with large metal bars attacthed by a chain. It's painful when making a mistake, though it is an ingenious shock treatment process, make a mistake and you will be hurt, therfore you do not make mistakes.

For now I think I'll keep the the prefrence of chopstiks strung together - this way I have less of risk of hurting my self.

That's meant to be the idea... so maybe I'll move onto more 'solid' chucks later... but for now, until the number of times I hit myself drops a little, I'll keep the padded ones.

But I don't really have much of a life. What you've seen of me - I.e, my art and martial arts - that's pretty much all I do in my free time!
