King Skarl appeared and demanded that I pay him taxes. I've never heard of such an event before!!! GRRRR. And I had quite a lot of nps on hand, so I ended up having to fork over roughly 100,000 np. Taxes... really?!

I got this tax randomly within 5 mins of ab'ing o.O paid like 70k had like 1.5 mil on me. I think it's also percentage based. Hey at least it wasn't the tax beast or angry tax beast....*knock on wood*
