I get Off by Halestorm
GREAT new rockband from philly. They have a female singer who is one of those girly girl wussy singers but is a true ballsy singer. She reminds me of Joan Jett sort of.
Love Nightwish. But prefer Lacuna Coil when I am in a gothy female singer mood.

I get Off by Halestorm
GREAT new rockband from philly. They have a female singer who is one of those girly girl wussy singers but is a true ballsy singer. She reminds me of Joan Jett sort of.
I saw this in stores, but I was a little wary to buy it for a couple reasons.
1. Almost sounds like a Christian Rock band?
2. They stole Alestorm's name and added a letter! Grrrrrrrr

1. Far from it. I get off is about a girl who has a peeping tom but instead of calling the police she gives him a show. The real title is "I get off on you getting off on me" So very far from a Christian band LOL. Another song "Innocence" is about a young (jail bait maybe?) male groupie of hers. One line is "I only cum when you scream" yep definitely a Christian band
2. the singer and drummer are brother and sister. Their last name is Hale, hence Halestorm.

Too heavy for me. But they have nice lyrics. Very different from all the songs we hear now.
