Recently I posted about an error with the CodexChecks, I suspected I just needed to format, so when I had finally finished formatting my computer, it came to my surprise I'm getting the exact same errors.
The two error boxes:

Attached is my Debug Log,
Thanks.

actually
I just found the problem
Either installing the COMPLETELY visual basic 6 enterprise edition fixed it OR the problem was in the dx8vb.dll file. after I drag and dropped it worked fine. BUT that may not be the case..... Memui I fixed my own problem.
GOOGLE FTW

I installed the runtime files that are posted on the required programs. Could you find me another pack to try?

And yeah, installed the CPad. No errors or anything in installation. Tried on my sisters PC and it didn't work either.

Stephen I don't think the problem lies within the vb6 files itself. i believe it has something to do a rogue file being missing or out of date. if you can't get visual basic 6 and install it. that should solve the problem. That solved my problem

That's nice for you

i am not quite sure what you want me to do about that.

if you are having a problem with the Neocodex Check, it would be good if you could give me a few hints,
Specifically the things i would like to know are
1) you've read my FAQ and followed ALL the instructions
2) the programs you're having an error with
3) the type of error, i put detailed error text for a reason
4) if you can, a screen shot is useful as it shows me what you are talking about

The phrase "it's not working" is not as useful wink.gif

Describe why it isn't working and what pops up. That should help Mumei find the problem.

Hi Mumei

I have trouble logging into the NEocodex Check. It always says "unable to connect" I believe it is due to the forced proxy my ISP enforces. Without the proxy, all requests timeout via Port 80. Is there anyway to login using a proxy?
