Did any americans hear about a prison break a few weeks back (I know, I'm totally slow) in Fort Madison, Iowa? The two guys who made a rope out of blankets and rappelled over an unmanned guard tower and escaped?

Yeah, I'm 30 minutes from Fort Madison. One of those guys stole the car of a kid who goes to my school who lives in a small town in the country, but they caught him before he got far.

I know it's not a current event anymore, but I just remembered and wondered if anyone heard.

nope.. I didnt hear that. It must have not been news worthy or I missed it on the news... thats kinda scary tho but its good they got caught
