Nope, I adopted a red blumaroo once from the pound named sexflamez (not sure why..) and it just disappeared within about a day, I didn't get a warning or anything.

Because I used to get 20 neomails a day saying "Omg! Your pet is sick, you're horrible, at least give it medicine!" and, whenever people are pounding a rare pet, "I'll feed it every day, and I'll buy it lots of toys and pamper it!"
